Professor Conroy was one of only four individuals being promoted to Associate Professor that were selected by the Campus Committee on Promotion and Tenure for this special recognition.  The Distinguished Promotion award identifies exceptional cases of scholars whose contributions have been extraordinary in terms of quality of work and overall achievement.
