We are excited to announce that Petroleum Experts has renewed a grant of software packages to the Illinois State Geologic Survey and Department of Geology! This software increases our ability to model and interpret the subsurface geology of Illinois.
This software is the most complete package available for structural modeling and analysis. In addition, it allows users to interpret data, construct cross sections, build 3D models of the subsurface, including fracture and fault response modeling, sediment modeling, and fault and stress analysis.
This cooperative arrangement is aimed at fostering enhanced research and teaching between the Department of Geology and the ISGS. The value of this package is more than $2.5 million.
